Saltburn by the Sea is a Victorian seaside town, steeped with history, having retained a lot of its original charm combined with a metropolitan feel with modern bars and restaurants. Take a walk along the award-winning pier and stretch your legs walking along miles of golden sand.
If you're too tired to walk back up the hill, take a ride on the oldest water-powered funicular cliff-lift and then finish your day wood-fired pizzeria. It can all be found in Saltburn.

If you want to venture out of Saltburn, the North Yorkshire Moors National Park is a stone's throw away for a great day out. You can follow in Harry Potter's footsteps and take a ride on the steam train at Goathland. There are many villages and towns nearby to visit, such as Staithes, Whitby, or Runswick Bay to name but a few.
Saltburn by the Sea is perfect for a romantic getaway, couples, families, dog lovers and walkers. Saltburn is famous and very popular for surfing. There are excellent transport links to and from Saltburn, with daily bus and trains connecting to the surrounding area.
